Organise your own Memory Walk

As Scotland’s leading dementia charity, Alzheimer Scotland offers a wide range of practical services, community activities, information, care and emotional support to people living with dementia, their families and carers. We make sure nobody faces dementia alone.

Our key services include a network of specialist Dementia Advisors, Dementia Nurse Consultants based in NHS health boards, Dementia Resource Centres in communities across Scotland, world leading Dementia Research Centres and a Freephone 24 hour Dementia Helpline.

In order to run, grow and develop such a varied portfolio of vital services, we rely on fundraised income, and support from companies, individuals and groups across the country.

By supporting Alzheimer Scotland you have the opportunity to do something extraordinary, building a better, brighter future for people living with dementia, their carers and families.

Help us to transform lives by raising much needed funds and awareness by organising your very own Memory Walk.

How your money helps

  • Our Freephone Dementia Helpline takes over 5,000 calls annually, providing information and emotional support to anyone who needs help. £15 will pay for us to send an information pack to a Helpline caller.

  • Our mobile information vehicles enable us to raise awareness of dementia and bring information on the condition and the support available to local communities. £25 pay for us to operate one of our mobile information vehicles for one day.

  • £100 will help us to continue our vital medical and social research into the causes of dementia, its early detection, and how it could be treated in the future.
